PRODUCER THOMAS TULL ANNOUNCES IT MIGHT GET LOUD,

Burbank, Ca….Producer Thomas Tull and Oscar winning director, Davis Guggenheim, today announced completion of principal photography on It Might Get Loud. Shot quietly in London, Dublin, Nashville and Los Angeles, the film has begun generating worldwide industry buzz. It’s the story of the electric guitar from the point of view of three of its most accomplished and passionate players. Davis Guggenheim, the Academy Award winning director/producer of An Inconvenient Truth and Emmy Award winning director/producer of Deadwood, directed and co- produced It Might Get Loud. The film was both financed and produced by Tull, who conceived of the project and asked Guggenheim to direct. Additionally financing the film with Thomas Tull are executive producers Bert Ellis and Hyperion Entertainment. Peter Afterman, founder of the music supervision company, Inaudible, and Lesley Chilcott, a producer on An Inconvenient Truth, are also producers on this film. Avoiding the traditional ‘talking heads’ documentary style, the film captures three world-renowned, critically acclaimed musicians, from three different generations: The Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White. Each explains and demonstrates how he changed the sound of the electric guitar to suit his own distinctive musical style. In each intimate one-on-one portrait the artist visits his past, imagines his future and creates songs while the camera rolls. The three legends then come together before the cameras, to play, learn, teach, jam and discover. The electric guitar occupies a primal space in contemporary global conscience, mesmerizing audience members from nine to ninety. To date, the bands of Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White have sold more than 500 million albums worldwide. It Might Get Loud memorializes the first time these three musical giants have met, much less played guitar together. The film will be represented at the Cannes Film Festival by the Little Film Company.

LITTLE FILM COMPANY MAKES KEY SALES ON SOUTH AFRICAN CO-PRODUCTION “SKIN”

LITTLE FILM COMPANY MAKES KEY SALES ON SOUTH AFRICAN CO-PRODUCTION “SKIN” Los Angeles, CA – It was announced today at the AFM that The Little Film Company has completed major sales in several key territories for the powerful South African co-production “Skin” starring Academy Award® nominee Sophie Okonedo (“Hotel Rwanda”), Sam Neill, Alice Krige, Tony Kgoroge and talented newcomer Ella Ramangwane. The announcement was made today by Little Film Company co-presidents, Robbie and Ellen Little. The film has been sold to Philippe Hellman’s UGCPh (France), Nordisk (Scandinavia), Conquest Films (Brazil), Indies Entertainment (Benelux), Front Row (Middle East) and Spentzos Film S.A. (Greece). Degeto Film (Germany) and the BBC (UK) have pre-bought free television rights in their respective territories. Directed by Anthony Fabian and produced by Anthony Fabian, Genevieve Hofmeyr and Margaret Matheson. The film is a co-production between Elysian Films, Bard Entertainments (UK) and Moonlighting Films (RSA). Aramid Entertainment is co-financing the film with The Industrial Development Corporation and the National Film and Video Foundation of South Africa together with Lip Sync Productions in the UK. The project, developed by Anthony Fabian through his company Elysian, is the first film to take advantage of the UK / South Africa co-production treaty. “Skin” is a powerful film based on the fascinating true story of Sandra Laing. Sandra entered the world as a beautiful baby but no one, not the hospital staff, her mother, father or neighbors would admit the obvious. Abraham and Sannie Laing were white yet their daughter was dark. By a biological quirk, the pigment of an unknown black ancestor had lain dormant for generations and manifested itself in Sandra. If there was ever a wrong place and wrong time for this phenomenon, it was apartheid South Africa in 1955! The film follows Sandra’s thirty-year journey from rejection to acceptance, betrayal to reconciliation, as she struggles to define her place in a changing world — and triumphs against all odds. The Little Film Company, which handled worldwide sales on 2006 Academy Award® wining film from South Africa, “Tsotsi,” is handling worldwide sales rights to “Skin.” Commented Robbie Little, “‘Skin’ is an emotionally engaging film that captivates audiences with its raw portrayal of race relations in apartheid controlled South Africa. Sophie Okonedo and Ella Ramangwane deliver standout performances in the challenging role of Sandra Laing. We’re thrilled with the sales to date and look forward to selling out the rest of the world soon.” Commented Simon Fawcett of Aramid Capital, “This is a provocative and emotional project that from the outset has attracted strong talent behind the scenes and in front of the camera, I have no doubt they will deliver an exceptional movie.” About The Little Film Company: Owned by Robbie and Ellen Little, The Little Film Company acts as a World Sales Company, selling from three to five pictures a year, and as an Executive Producer specializing in the development, financing and packaging of theatrical motion pictures of varying budget levels. The Little Film Company has recently exec-produced and is selling the Oscar–winning film Tsotsi, written and directed by Gavin Hood and An American Haunting written and directed by Courtney Solomon. The Littles have built solid long-term relationships—with a network of financing partners, talent representatives and distributors—which can kick-start an independent production. Marko Makilaakso, director of Stone's War Set during the Second World War, Stone's War follows a platoon of US and Finnish soldiers who confront an army of zombies on the border between Finland and Russia. It was inspired by Zack Snyder's Daw

Marko Makilaakso is a tenacious film-maker. When film school turned him down, he started making his own short films and music videos, eventually establishing an award-winning career. A few years later, when the Finnish Film Foundation refused to fund his debut feature on the grounds it was a horror film, Makilaakso took the project to neighbouring Lithuania where he proceeded to set it up as a $5m English-language zombie thriller. Set during the Second World War, Stone's War follows a platoon of US and Finnish soldiers who confront an army of zombies on the border between Finland and Russia. It was inspired by Zack Snyder's Dawn Of The Dead remake. "I'm not a huge zombie fan but I wanted to give it go," recalls Makilaakso, who wrote the script in just four days. He teamed up with Lithuanian Film Studios (LFS), a studio facility that also invests in film. Filming began in 2006 but was halted when the financing failed to materialise. LFS managing director Ramunas Skikas was impressed with the footage and contacted Barr Potter of US-based MediaWide Consultants to help refigure the project as an English-language film. Potter reworked the script with Makilaakso, adding more dialogue. Potter signed on as a producer and brought in Robbie Little of the Little Film Company to handle international sales. Little, in turn, brought Italian producer Media One on board. The film's budget comes entirely from LFS, Media One and pre-sales. Production started again in January in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius and on location in the country. Most of the 100-member crew was Lithuanian, including department heads, with other crew members coming from Bulgaria, Finland and Germany. LFS subsidiary Cinevision is handling CGI work, while Media One will complete post-production in Italy. The cast is headed by UK actor Andrew Tiernan, supported by a cast of mostly Finns. As befits the work of a director of highly stylised music videos, Stone's War does not aim for gritty realism. "It has a very commercial touch, which is good for US distribution," Makilaakso says. "It's not trying to be an authentic Second World War-period movie in any way. Everything is really stylised and has its unique flavour." With his ambition, commercial focus and awareness of US audience tastes, Makilaakso's sensibilities echo those of Russia's Timur Bekmambetov, the wunderkind director of vampire chillers Nightwatch and Daywatch. "Marko is going to be someone the studios will take an interest in when they see this film," Potter suggests. Makilaakso is now in pre-production on another English-language project, with the working title Wasteland, which begins filming in January in Lithuania and Hungary. He is also developing a script with comic-book maestro Stan Lee. Watch this space. MARKO MAKILAAKSO'S CULTURAL LIFE - Favourite recent book: Watchmen, the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. - Favourite recent movie: Zack Snyder's 300, Ed Zwick's Blood Diamond. - Which newspapers and magazines do you read? Empire - Websites: YouTube.com, Apple Movie Trailers. - Inspirations: The works of Sergio Leone, Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, Michael Bay and Robert Zemeckis.

ARM Distribution Teams With The Little Film Company To Sell Protégé at AFM

Los Angeles, CA – October 31, 2006 — It was announced today that Peter Ho-sun Chan’s Applause Pictures and the Ruddy Morgan Organization have created, ARM Distribution, a joint venture to handle the world wide sales of their jointly produced films (Morgan and Chan Productions) starting with the crime thriller, Protégé. Protégé also marks the first co-production between Hong Kong’s ARM, Beijing Polybona Film Publishing and China Film Group. This ideal partnership between Hong Kong and China has resulted in an anticipated second collaboration between director Derek Yee and star Daniel Wu. Through ARM, The Ruddy Morgan Organization and Applause Pictures will continue their expanding alliance in Asia and position them as one of the leading sales companies for Asian product. Assisting them in this new arrangement is Robbie and Ellen Little’s The Little Film Company. The announcement was made by Applause Picture’s Peter Chan, The Ruddy Morgan Organization’s Andre Morgan and The Little Film Company’s Robbie Little. Under terms of the deal, The Little Film Company’s Robbie Little and Clay Epstein will work alongside ARM’s President, Patricia Cheng to focus on sales starting at the upcoming AFM. Commented Robbie Little, “We’re very excited to be working with Andre Morgan, and Peter Chan on these films. The themes and story behind Protége are universal and transcend cultural boundaries. Asian cinema continues to be on the cutting edge and is only getting better with the amazing talent pool of filmmakers and actors.” Morgan added, “Asian Cinema as a whole has now become International Cinema, with stars and films reaching beyond Asia and strongly influencing Hollywood movies.” Protégé is produced by Peter Chan (The Eye series). Written and directed by Derek Yee (“One Night in Mongkok”), the film stars Andy Lau (“Infernal Affairs, House of Flying Daggers”), Daniel Wu (“The Banquet“, One Night in Mongkok”,), Zhang Jingchu (“Seven Swords”) and Louis Koo (“Election”). The film marks Yee and Daniel Wu’s second collaboration on a feature film. This is the first time that within a co-production, Hong Kong and China has dared to deal with such a provocative, potentially controversial subject. Special agent Nick (Daniel Wu), is deep undercover in the heart of Asia’s lucrative crime trade as he plays protégé to one of the key players in the game, “Banker” (Andy Lau). In the eight years he has been infiltrating the underworld industry, Nick has amassed enough evidence to indict Banker, but has been ordered to remain undercover and expose the identity of the man behind Banker in order to bring down the entire organization. In the seedy underbelly of mob culture, where redemption comes at a price and the borders of justice, loyalties and truth are constantly changing, Nick grapples with dangerous choices and finds himself flirting with more than the devil. Following in the tradition of films like Traffic, Protégé is a suspense-filled exploration of the complex relationships and loyalties within the multilayered, international crime syndicates of today. However, as Nick becomes more trusted and embroiled with Banker’s crime family, he finds himself corrupted by the easy money and his new found power. Unable to separate himself from his undercover persona, he immerses himself into his role as a crime figure.

ROBSON ENTERTAINMENT SOARS TO NEW HEIGHTS WITH “BLINDSIGHT” The Little Film Company appointed Sales Agent To Inspiring Documentary with World Premiere At Toronto International Film Festival

Sybil Robson Orr’s Robson Entertainment today announced that The Little Film Company—the world sales company headed by Robbie and Ellen Little—has been appointed as Sales Agent to the documentary feature “Blindsight” – an exhilarating and emotional film that tracks a group of inspirational Tibetan teenagers and two visionary leaders on an incredible journey that enlivens the human spirit. “Blindsight” has been accepted into the Toronto International Film Festival where it will have its World Premiere – screening in the festival’s Real to Reel section – a showcase of the best non-fiction cinema from around the world. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayas, Blindsight follows the gripping adventure of six Tibetan teenagers on a climbing expedition up the north side of Mount Everest. A dangerous journey soon becomes a seemingly impossible challenge made all the more remarkable by the fact that the teenagers are blind. Believed to be possessed by demons because of their blindness, the children are feared by their parents, scorned by their villages and rejected by society. Rescued by Sabriye Tenberken - a blind educator and adventuress - the students invite the famous blind mountain climber Erik Weihenmayer to visit their school. Erik arrives in Lhasa and inspires Sabriye and her students Kyila, Sonam Bhumtso, Tashi, Gyenshen, Dachung and Tenzin to let him lead them higher than they have ever been before. The epic documentary was produced by Sybil Robson Orr (“Che,” “The Africans,” “Gordy”) with Academy Award® nominee Steven Haft (“Dead Poets Society,” “The Singing Detective,” “Tigerland”) executive producing. Lucy Walker (Independent Spirit Award nominee and Sundance hit “Devil’s Playground” “Blue’s Clues”) directed the film. Added Sybil Robson Orr, “You will laugh and cry and laugh again, leaving the theater provoked by the need to discuss how you were transformed while watching the film. I have fallen in love with these six teenagers; and will forever be inspired by their courage and thirst for life. I can honestly say, this film is the high point of my career both through my experiences in Tibet and now by sharing this remarkable story with the world.” Robbie Little commented, “’Blindsight’ is an extraordinary documentary that is incredibly moving, and exquisitely photographed. Erik, Sabriye and her Tibetan students are such inspirational, real-life super heroes that to watch them in action is truly humbling.” As the first blind man ever to summit Mount Everest, Erik Weihenmayer won the attention of worldwide press including the cover of Time. One year later, standing on the top of Mount Kosciusko in Australia, Eirk completed his 7-year quest to climb the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the seven continents, joining only 100 mountaineers ever to do so, all of them sighted. Shortly after losing his sight at the age of twelve, Erik also lost his mother in a tragic car accident. In an effort to strengthen the family during this difficult time, Erik’s father, an ex-Marine, took his three teenage sons on climbing trips to far reaches of the globe including South American, India and Nepal. While awkward at first, Erik persevered and has emerged today as one of the most exciting and respected athletes in the world. In addition to climbing, Erik is also an acrobatic skydiver, long distance cyclist, skier, para-glider and marathon runner. Erik has won a wide variety of prestigious awards and has been responsible for raising millions of dollars for blind organizations and other worthy causes in the United States and around the world. In a recent poll, Erik was named as one of the 20 most inspirational people in America. Sabriye Tenberken has been blind since the age of 12. After enrolling in Tibetology at Bonn University, Sabriye discovered there was no Braille text for the Tibetan language so she created it herself. She also learned that high altitude and sun exposure in Tibet causes twice as much blindness per capita as the global average, making the need for Braille all the more vital. Initially turned away by the Chinese, Sabriye persevered, arriving in Tibet in 1996 determined to establish the region’s first school for the blind. She met a local in Lhasa who shared her enthusiasm. They set out on horseback through the treacherous Himalayas eventually finding blind children in remote villages to join her school. Today, Sabriye operates an internationally renowned school for the blind, teaching her students how to read, write and speak in Chinese, English and Tibetan. Sabriye’s work has won worldwide recognition including Time Magazine’s 2004 Hero of the Year Awards in both Europe and Asia. She was named Yong Global Leader at the World Economic Forum 2005 and has received a Knighthood from Holland. Sabriye and her organization, Braille Without Borders are going to receive the Mother Teresa Award this September. THE LITTLE FILM COMPANY PLANTS SEEDS FOR GROWTH Company Expands and Reloads International Sales Slate with The Acquisition of Three New Films

Los Angeles, CA – May 10, 2006 — The Little Film Company, the Los Angeles-based worldwide sales and marketing company headed by Robbie and Ellen Little, has reloaded its international slate, acquiring worldwide rights to three high-caliber new films including the political drama “The Colossus,” “the suspense thriller “Ghost Maker,” and the action-adventure “Aminî.” The Little Film Company recently found success with two highly lauded films. The 2006 Academy Award® winner for Best Foreign Language Film, “Tsotsi” was championed by The Little Film Company from its earliest stages and sold to top distributors throughout the world including Miramax for North America, Momentum for the UK, and Kinowelt for Germany. Additionally, The Little Film Company packaged and sold distribution rights for the horror thriller “An American Haunting,” which has already opened and played successfully in the UK through Lionsgate. It has just opened to a wide US theatrical release—1600 screens—and was the third highest-grossing film on its opening weekend. Lionsgate will be releasing the film on DVD. Looking to build off this success, The Little Film Company has expanded first its operations and staff—bringing in industry executive Clay Epstein as Vice President of Sales & Acquisitions, and now its international sales slate with a focus on the newly acquired films. Directed by Sean Mathias, “The Colossus,” which is currently in pre-production, is based on the novel Manly Pursuits by Ann Harries and is being produced by Lisa Katselas (““Richard III,” Mrs. Dalloway”). In “The Colossus,” the imperialist diamond merchant Cecil Rhodes, nicknamed “The Colossus,” has recently been deposed as Prime Minister of “The Colonies” and his health is in decline. He obsesses that he can only recover if he can hear the sound of English song birds outside his window in Cape Town. Ornithologist Francis Wills is hired to transport 500 songbirds to Rhodes’s home in South Africa where—after being ardently pursued by Mrs. Rudyard Kipling—Wills falls in love with Olive Schreiner, a local firebrand activist fighting against Rhodes and trying to prevent the inevitable war against the Boers. Suddenly Wills finds himself at the dangerous center of a daring plot to stop the war for, as a guest in Rhodes’s house, he has unwittingly discovered the existence of eight missing telegrams—whose contents, once exposed, could ultimately stop the war. The film explores the loyalties between men, the love that binds men and women, the devotion to country, and the often extraordinary motives for war. Currently in pre-production, “Ghost Maker” is written and directed by Skander Halim (“Booth,” “Guest Room”) and produced by Ivan Schneeberg and Dave Fortier. Executive Producers are Joel Soisson and Mike Leahy. In the film, Lacey Scott is spending the summer with her grandfather in a huge mansion, but it’s not long before Lacey realizes that there’s something terribly wrong with the house. Lacey starts researching the history of the house and discovers that it was once an insane asylum, housing some of the country’s most violent criminals. Vague, elusive hints surface of something called the “Lazarus Project,” involving the torture and death of several inmates in an attempt to unlock the secret of eternal life. Could her grandfather have been somehow involved in the mysterious and horrifying Lazarus Project and the search to create a perfect ghost? Directed by Yousaf Ali Kahn from a script by Clive Bradley,“Aminî” (“Sanctuary”) tells the inspiring story of a 12-year-old Kurdish boy, orphaned by the war in Iraq, who rescues a stray dog—about to be shot—and together they set out on a perilous journey to find a place where they¹ll be safe…a fabled ancient sanctuary in the distant mountains of South Eastern Turkey. “Aminî” is a story of war and survival, of courage and compassion, of desperation and hope, of a boy and his dog. The film is being produced by Gill Parry and executive produced by Ellen Little. Casting is currently underway. Overseeing the company’s new slate is Clay Epstein, who was recently named Vice President, Sales & Acquisitions, and is responsible for the sale and distribution of theatrical product and the marketing of all distributed titles. Epstein will also be identifying and pursuing finished feature films that support the company’s overall motion picture acquisition strategy.
